How we handle information submitted through this website.
This policy applies to aptient.com, operated by Aptient Consulting Pty Ltd (ABN available on request), a company incorporated in Australia. It describes what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it.

We collect information only when you choose to submit it. The contact form on this website collects:
We do not collect information passively through tracking pixels, advertising networks, or user behaviour analytics. We do not use Google Analytics or equivalent services on this site.
Contact form submissions are used solely to respond to your enquiry. We do not add you to a mailing list, share your details with third parties for marketing purposes, or use your information for any purpose other than the conversation you initiated.

We do not use any other third-party data processors in connection with this website.
Contact form submissions are logged in our internal systems and retained for up to 12 months, after which they are deleted. Correspondence arising from an enquiry may be retained for longer if required for the purposes of the business relationship.
This site is served over HTTPS (TLS 1.2 minimum). Contact form submissions are transmitted to our API over an encrypted connection. Access to stored submissions is restricted to authorised Aptient personnel.
We do not set cookies for tracking or analytics purposes. Cloudflare Turnstile may set a short-lived functional cookie as part of its verification process. No persistent tracking cookies are placed by this website.
Under the Australian Privacy Act 1988, you have the right to request access to personal information we hold about you, and to request correction if it is inaccurate. If you are located in the European Union or United Kingdom, you may also have rights under the GDPR or UK GDPR, including the right to erasure and the right to data portability.
In the event of an eligible data breach, we will notify affected individuals and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) as required under the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.
